Day-McKellar Preparatory School provides
private instruction and specialized classes for students from San Diego and adjacent counties and Mexico during
the afternoon, evening and weekend hours. Students attending public and private schools during the school day can receive
individual instruction to stay on top of a subject, remediate skills and advance scholarship. Students can complete all special
projects, essays and prepare for upcoming tests. We show students how to organize, manage time and become scholars who
know how to show what they know.
We offer additional instruction for students in kindergarten through
college, in all subjects, through college-level calculus. Students work in a premier private school to sharpen basic skills and grow as expert
readers, seasoned writers and gifted mathematicians. Students who are at-risk for retention as well as those who are
looking to remain on the cutting edge benefit from private instruction as well as small, specialized classes. It is for students
who want to reach new heights, and the parents who want to put them there. Individual instruction is 1:1 and classes vary
in size depending on the topic.
